The Territorial Commission for Territorial Planning and Urban Planning (CTOTU) of the Government of Andalusia has agreed in its session on Wednesday, November 15, the final approval for the construction of the golf course and the development of the first phase of hotel land of the project. The project will adopt the low-density model of the La Zagaleta urbanization in Benahavís (Málaga), where maximum standards of sustainability and balance with the environment have prevailed for 30 years. To this will be added developments for sports activities such as golf (two golf courses), hunting, fishing or horse riding.

The development company defends that Zagaleta’s vision in Castellar de la Frontera is the creation of an exclusive, world-renowned destination. This development comprises an 18 or 27-hole World Championship golf facility unique in Europe designed by one of the industry’s leading architects, Tom Doak, which will host international events and equestrian facilities for tournaments such as the World Equestrian Games. of the equestrian world).
