Marbella Plans 156 New Homes and Expansive Green Spaces Near La Cañada

Marbella is moving forward with a major residential development near La Cañada shopping centre, introducing 156 detached homes alongside extensive public green spaces and new community facilities.
The project, led by Hungarian developer Cordia, part of the Futureal Group, will transform a 105,000-square-metre site north of the AP-7 motorway, close to Trapiche del Prado.
With an estimated €8 million investment in infrastructure, the development will include new roads, parking facilities and recreational areas, while dedicating more than 44,000 square metres of land to public use, representing approximately 42% of the total site.
Key features of the development include:
- 156 detached residential homes
- 25,366 m² of public green spaces
- 4,063 m² of private sports facilities
- 251 private parking spaces and 127 public parking bays
- Dedicated land for educational and social facilities
The project has received environmental authorisation and is progressing through the municipal planning process.
This development represents another step in Marbella’s urban expansion, combining new residential opportunities with investment in infrastructure, public amenities and green spaces.
