Dreambeach Festival Moves to Costa del Sol with New Venue in Vélez-Málaga

One of Spain’s most important electronic music festivals is heading to the Costa del Sol for the first time. Dreambeach Festival, a major name on the national and international EDM circuit, will relocate from Almería to Vélez-Málaga, where it will take place on 31 July and 1 August at the town’s fairground, next to the El Ingenio shopping centre.
The event, now rebranded as Dreambeach Costa del Sol, marks a new chapter after more than a decade in Almería. Organisers have confirmed a refreshed format, promising a powerful line-up featuring leading international and national electronic artists, alongside major global brands in the music scene. The two-day festival will feature four independent stages and large-scale production structures.
Dreambeach has previously attracted up to 90,000 attendees in recent editions, with some years exceeding 130,000 visitors over longer formats. Its arrival strengthens Vélez-Málaga’s growing reputation as a music destination, joining the well-established Weekend Beach festival held annually in nearby Torre del Mar. Both events are promoted by Granada-based Producciones Toro, reinforcing the eastern Costa del Sol as a key hub for major music festivals.
