Malaga, 26 September 2025 – Malaga’s west coast is consolidating its reputation as the city’s new “golden mile” with the completion of the Torre del Río development, three 21-storey towers that set a new standard for luxury living on the Costa del Sol.

The latest building to be delivered is Vision, developed by Metrovacesa in partnership with Marbella firm Sierra Blanca. Designed by prestigious architect Carlos Lamela and built by Sacyr, the tower contains 73 exclusive apartments ranging from one to four bedrooms, each with private terraces, two parking spaces and storage rooms. Metrovacesa has confirmed that more than 90% of the homes have already been sold.

Among the few still available are a 625-square-metre apartment on the 20th floor priced at €4.85 million, a 471-square-metre property one floor below for €3.87 million, and a 325-square-metre unit on the 17th floor listed at €2.65 million. All residents will have access to high-end communal facilities including multiple swimming pools, a spa with a heated indoor pool, a gym, coworking areas, leisure rooms and landscaped gardens.

Last year, Sierra Blanca revealed that penthouses in the central tower had been put on the market for nearly €10 million, though only one has been sold at that figure. Meanwhile, attention is turning to the nearby La Térmica project, promoted by investment fund Ginkgo, where around 400 new homes are planned. Prices there range from €510,000 for a one-bedroom flat to just under €2 million for larger units, with completion expected in 2028.

With record prices, exclusive amenities and strong demand from both national and international buyers, Malaga’s western seafront is rapidly becoming the city’s most prestigious residential address.
