Marbella’s luxury real estate market continues to demonstrate remarkable strength, with prime property sales exceeding €70 million during the first half of 2026, according to market insights presented at the Forbes Real Estate Forum Costa del Sol.
The analysis, presented by luxury real estate specialist Drumelia, revealed an average transaction value of €3.76 million, highlighting continued demand for high-end homes from international buyers.
Following the exceptional post-pandemic boom, Marbella’s prime market is now entering a more mature phase, characterised by steady, sustainable, and healthier long-term growth. Industry experts point to the city’s exceptional lifestyle, world-class healthcare, fine dining, luxury services, and year-round climate as key drivers supporting its continued success.
The report also highlights the growing influence of the «Costa del Tech» phenomenon, with an increasing number of international technology professionals choosing Marbella as their base while working remotely. Alongside strong demand from traditional European markets, interest from buyers in the United States, Canada, and the Gulf region continues to strengthen the luxury segment.
With its unique combination of Mediterranean lifestyle, walkable neighbourhoods, and world-class amenities, Marbella continues to reinforce its position as one of Europe’s most desirable destinations for luxury living and long-term property investment.
